For Christmas my mum got me Crochet One Skein Wonders, a great crochet pattern book full of ways to use up leftover balls of wool. It’s got a fair few different projects I can see myself doing at some point.
The first I’ve attempted was this simple rabbit toy. He worked up really quickly, and the pattern was super easy to follow. Even easier with the stitch counter my mum also got me for Christmas!
I might need a bit more practise at doing the face before making one for a child. This one has a distinctly evil sneer going on, somehow. I was aiming for cute!
In the post-Crimbo sales I treated myself to a new camera, as my old one had started putting lines on pictures unexplainably. Bunny served as a good model for playing with the macro settings. Here’s a ‘behind the scenes’ of my cheap and cheerful backdrop;
